Massage cupping is based on an ancient technique from China. By creating a suction and negative pressure, rigid soft tissue is released. This loosens adhesions by lifting connective tissue and increasing blood flow to skin and muscles. This technique can be helpful in lymphatic drainage, scar tissue release, myofascial release and chronically tight muscles.
Japanese Dry Brush
Reverses kapha imbalance, increases circulation, stimulates lymphatic, exfoliates dry skin. Dry brushing is an excellent stimulating intro to any massage.
Warm moist compress with organic ginger and herbs applied after any type of massage to increase circulation and release stagnation and muscle spasms.
Sinus Therapy and Herbal Mask
Cranial massage and acupressure relieves sinus pressure and restores cranial rhythm. A thermal mask with stimulating herbal steam helps encourage drainage.
A Japanese hot herbal therapy is applied over the meridian lines of the body. Helps release blocked chi and energizes the body by balancing yin and yang.
Ear candling is a centuries old technique originating in Europe. This technique uses a hollow waxed cloth candle to warm and soften the earwax, and then draw it up into the candle. There is no discomfort. Each candle takes 10-15 minutes, or two candles are used, based on the patient.
Manual Scar Tissue Release (MSTR)
Manual scar tissue release therapies release scar tissue after surgery, injuries, whiplash and frozen shoulder friction. The goal is to soften and release scar tissue and assist with stretch techniques to restore flexibility movement and release chronic pain. Scar tissue release is helpful after hip, knee and back surgery. Also great for those with arthritis, frozen shoulder and other injuries.
